# IB20.updateSymbol

## Description

Updates the token's `symbol`. Emits `SymbolUpdated`.
Dev: Reverts with `AccessControlUnauthorizedAccount` when the caller does not hold `METADATA_ROLE`.
Param: newSymbol New token symbol.
